SingularityByte is an online magazine about artificial intelligence: news, coverage of models and tools, hands-on tutorials and a searchable library of Midjourney style references. We built it and we run it.
AI moves fast and most coverage is either hype or a press release. We wanted a magazine that explains what a new model or tool actually does, how to use it, and where it falls short, and a CMS that stays manageable once every section holds hundreds of entries.
The magazine runs on MODX 3. Each section is a Collections container, so editors get a sortable grid instead of a resource tree with hundreds of entries. pdoTools handles listings, MIGX stores structured data, SeoSuite manages metadata and the sitemap, and GoodNews sends the newsletter. The site is also connected to modxmcp, our MCP server for MODX, so an AI agent can draft, tag and publish through the same processors an editor uses.
